I’m Charlotte, I am a Psychotherapist here to help you navigate through feelings of overwhelm, anxiety and/or negative patterns.

I offer a compassionate psychotherapeutic approach to help you work towards self healing and growth.

I offer a supportive, safe and non-judgemental environment via online video call or telephone, which allows you to explore your thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies and gain insight into your challenges.

Whether you are dealing with issues from your past, present or future, whether this be stress, depression or relationship issues, I am here to help you work towards clarity and strength.

Training and Education

I completed my Psychotherapeutic education at The University of Salford and have a Masters degree in Counselling and Psychotherapeutic (Professional Training), with additional training in Stress Management and an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision with Counselling Tutor.

I have a fully enhanced Disclosure and Barring check, I am an Accredited Member of BACP (MBACP - Accred), and I hold Bupa Recognition.

Experience

I am a dedicated psychotherapist with experience of 1-2-1 therapy in emotional and mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, abuse, trauma, amongst others. Utilising techniques from cognitive behavioural therapy and mindfulness, I support clients in exploring their own insights and potential in a compassionate way.

With a background in higher education, I helped develop the FdSc Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Skills degree and taught future counsellors whilst providing academic and pastoral support.

I offer critical incident services which provides immediate and professional therapeutic skills to businesses and companies that have recently experienced a crisis that impacts the workforce.

I work as part of a team that provides intensive therapy programs, as a live-in counsellor. This is a unique and immersive working environment, which allows for a deeper level of engagement within the overall support process for clients.

Additionally, I provide supervision for other counsellors and psychotherapists to assist with their client caseloads, as well as opportunities to develop personally and professionally.
